Nice slick site, with plenty of info, but, theres always a but, the mystery of what spec toyota fits to which badge designation continues.
According to the site my last '93 SSR-X (2.4) should have had dual airbags and ABS, I only wish. Whilst my current should not have a folding rear seat, split or otherwise (yet to hear of one without) and it should have an LSD, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't, altough after reading other recent threads maybe its there but knackered..... Hmm have to have a look.

The mystery of the "Standard Specs" continues..................... ............

Re LSD - I think these were only fitted as standard to the SSR-X Limited's not the basic model although they were options.

Anyway - I dont think the basic spec is really very useful as so many japanese seem to go "optional extra" crazy and just about any combination seems possible!!

Well, that site is good for a laugh.

My 1992 SSR-X 2.4 is a 3 door with ABS, airbags and is not fitted with Air Con.

I notice that a lot of you have cars that should have recaro seats. It's not possible that our cousins in the orient would take out the posh stuff and flog it to their boy racers, replacing it with 2nd hand standard gear, then manufacture goods to customise ours. The goods then end up in Halfrauds and other good motoring shops. mmmmmmmmmmmm I'm becoming paranoid.
