Oh good, its working again. Now for my main problem.
A few days ago I had a tail lamp out so I changed the bulb and all was fine. That night, lying in bed, the room was suddenly lit up. I looked out the window and the surf had turned it's headlights on. I went out and turned them off. Back in bed about 20 mins later it happened again! So out I went and turned them off.
I was just dozing off after about an hour and you've guessed it....the surf decides to turn the lights on. Well, call me a woose but by this time I was quite spooked. I had recently watched transformers and my imagination was running riot!! I was so scared that I had to waken the man of the house and send him out and he disconnected the battery (with a lot of cursing and swearing, well it was -3C) and after 3 in the morning.
Next day battery connected everything is fine. But again I have discovered a bulb out. What can I do?
Sounds like Maximum Overdrive (remember that one)?
when you say it turned on by it'self do you mean on the stalk? and you turned em off on the stalk? wrong or faulty bulb cant physically switch switches, polterguist or someone buggering about??????
my headlights come on when i turn the switch two clicks on the arm on the steering column.. how do yours come on?
mine would only come on if this was turned. if yours is the same, and yours are actually being turned on, i would quite honestly say, someones having a bubble.
unless (fingers crossed) transformers are real. that would mean no more repairs! plus, you can tell it to transform into a 4th gen or a 3rd gen.

this is what i was trying to say... stalk!
if they are physically being switched on, then i will come round and sleep in your car one night to witness it
The lights came on without the stalk being twisted. I had to turn them on then off again. The truck was locked and in the yard which is locked too, so don't see how anyone could have done it. It's the same bulb that is out again. It was the full headlights on. I'm still a bit scared about it. LOL If I change the bulb will it all start over again? I s'pose it's electrical but don't know why it waited 'till night time to turn the lights on as I changed the bulb in the morning.
