So I got the satnav out and worked out litres to gallons and km's to miles, and miles to gallon, and i found that my mpg hasnt changed over a 150 mile trip! That was 240 km's and i'd put in 27 litres of fuel veg mix.

So was wondering if mpg droppage on 33's is due to the counter being thrown out cos of tyres, or whether im just fortunate to have one that dont mind em.
carol vorderman is req on this one me think ??????????????
the way to tell is to swap with a set o standard tyres and then do the same trip
with 33s on the you will know that the difference is well what do you
s lot think them ????????????? rspv

I think the only way to do it is drain your tank, stick a set amount of fuel in and run it till empty, then repeat with 33's. Otherwise, fill your tank, but just be prepared for the extra cost, and journey time lol. :

Working out MPG is always a swine -- what with traffic, weather, hills etc.
If you want a good test, you're going to have to average a lot of runs.

Easier to say bugrit and take a possible fuel hit for the definate 1.5" lift and lower ground pressure.
