I got a 25 litre drum of Chevron 15w40 a while back for something like £15 from Costco.

Cheap and cheerful so change every 3000 miles.

remember a wee smear of new oil on filter rubber seal and don't overtighten it!

worth doing an engine flush while your at it.

pour stuff in run for 10mins and drain.
amazing what comes out.

I used engine flush - I assumed that the oil would drain relatively slowly since it's a small drain plug .........

Assumptions are a bugger - about 2l of oil spewed all over the block paving cos it came out like a firehose so I spent about 3 hours trying to get rid of the stain !
