A few things to check -

Wheel bearings - tie rod ends - steering damper.

check steering idler for wear is there play anywhere on the the steering you say the tyres are nearly worn out might be a tyre going out of shape i would go out and put a new set on.

Sometimes even when a worn tyre is balanced it will be out of shape and still balance but wobble badly . The balance only subdues the side wobble in a tyre . When a tyre gets worn it can oval , I have seen it .This may not show on balancing . If a tyre is down to 2mm - change it . It ain't worth the last 0.4mm before plod nick you .

Also if it's a new import, bear in mind it will have been sat in the same place on it's wheels for some time, 1st at the auction, then at the docs, then a few weeks on a boat, then at the docks, then at the dealer. Most cars of 2 tons will create a flat spot on the tyres if subject to this amount of abuse, that's why for long term storage, cars should always be on axle stands with the wheels off.

              Cheers
