Thinking about it, if 'merkins didn't have that edge of craziness about them, people like Alan Shephard would never have sat on top of an ICBM would they? People like Chuck Yeager wouldn't have broken the sound barrier one handed with broken ribs would they?

Nasa Scientist - "Alan, we'd like you to sit in that small can on top of that missile"

Alan S - "Why? Whats it gonna do?"
