  • Truck rebuild updated

after killing a pug 306 I had to rebuild my truck.

stripped it today and offered new wing up.
Will drill holes in wing tomorrow and straighten the small bend in crossfront panel with portapower. should be back on the road by evening.

cheers to everyone who helped me source parts, thanks lads.

Cheers Richard, thankfully I didn't need the slam panel (although the ebay showed up, so if anybody needs one let me know) and the other bits were sourced on here.

When I think about it I could use another inner wing plastic splash guard, mines fooked.

                      Rebuild is progressing

My mate Bill came round and helped me chop up the slam panel I got and match it up to mine.

Reshaping front of inner wing damage.

New bit slotted in and checked for fit

Grinding off the excess on inner wing

Wing offered up and old wing cut up to make template for new holes

                      Holes marked and cut

                      Parts fitted

Just need another one of these and a wee weld and it's ready to bolt bits back on.
