  • Number plate height/wheel carrier?

    Will my number plate be legal if mounted and lit, up here on my strange spoiler thing???



    Was thinking of making a carrier like this,i like it at an angle......................... ........

    I think so as you see some lorrys wiv a top mount reg plate and thats aklot higher.

        To be honest as long as the plate is visible you can place it anywhere

          Its ok if the plate is at 90 deg to the road and its solid. I have a stick on one on my bonnet and failed the MOT due to "number plate not as vertical as possible or not on a flat surface".

          I had to put a solid on one for the MOT.

          With it being rear it will also need a light or it will fail.

                            I really don’t like the angle that spare wheel is being carried at… it just looks plain stupid!
                            Mine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

                              Have to agree with PDR. Looks like its falling off. Will reduce the amount of manouvre room you have behind you too.
