I seem to recall asking this a few years back on an older surf of mine. My new truck needs a re gass. It has the old gass system,,,, can you get a retro kit to re gass yourself yet?

I don't think so, but a change over to the new gas shouldn't cost more than about £65.

As a suggestion, get it pressure tested first... i had a car that needed re-gassing I bought a DIY kit and the AC worked for about a day before it leaked a way.
Apparently AC systems have a drier (a canister full of ??) that is prone to corrosion and leaks. one new drier later and working AC.

Same problem i had and for an £8 fix for a new one, well worth it.
