Photos of the my last trip to Cape leveque in North Western Australia. The Hilux handled the rough stuff great. Just had to watch for falling trees and donkeys.
You get warm / hot sunshine, we get dull cold rain.
You get boulder / sand strewn trails, we get mud, mud or mud.
Spent a month in Adelaide, drove to Melbourne along Gt Ocean rd. Flew over ayers rock, well, over pretty much all of Oz. Wonderful place!
Wish more of our trails were huge rocks / sand. I know there's guys here who live for mud, but mud means rain, rain means fog / clouds, and that means not seeing anything of where you're driving.
If youve never heard of the gibb river road its 800kms of dirt track with tracks leading off it to freshwater/sal####er waterfalls, creeks, billabongs & some awesome Aboriginal rock art.
Am looking for some tag alongs for the journey.
Up here in Broome you can hire quality 4wd's eg 100 / 200 series landcruisers at very good rates and 4wd camper trailers at good rates.
