Yup - 2nd gear synchro collapsed

Jotto has one an i am going to speak to him 2mrw (via mechanic) see if it will be possible

can u use 2nd gear, the syncro is going on my van in 4th but it still works ok just crunches as it goes into gear

Yeah - just only when below a certain speed - dodgy pullin out and when droppin down ya just need to allow for a bit of rollin' down the road or floorin it in 3rd. Worst is if I forget at junctions comin down the gears.......

Yup fine - could get it fixed for £650 or there abouts but i aint got £650 (or there abouts)

Prob go on like this for ages - just annoying

same here boss just spent £1800 on my van clutch,flywheel and brakes just got to live with a dodgey 4th gear and a rattly cat in the zorst oh hum. company going through a bad patch so every thing is on hold, got more admin staff than engineers at the mo and no work coming in
