Lpg?

Just wondering if anyone has had an LPG conversion done to a Surf?

My spare wheel is on the rear so there's loads of space underneath for a tank.

I was running a Jag XJ40 on LPG. Depending on the system fitted, basic or sequential, savings vary. Certainly not 50% as advertised, as although LPG is app half price the mileage per gallon is less, i would say 35% saving and maybe more on the most expensive kit. You also need to know you will keep car 3-4 years and do quite a lot of miles before saving kicks in. With diesel and LPG savings are less as the LPG is dripped in with the diesel. Hope this is of help.

yeh thanks guys, it was just a thought but i don't think i would do enough miles to make it worth while.
