  • now that winter is here.......

    ...can anybody give a recipe for ham broth.
    I've had it a couple of times in the past from my works canteen and loved it.
    I would love to make my own, but everybody I have asked has given me different and conflicting recipe ideas.
    Just seems the right time of year and weather for a big bowl of thick hot broth and a half stotty...yummm yummm.
    Everyone thinks I'm paranoid!!

    well i can tell you how i make it but it would be differant from anyone else's
    there is a few differant ones too some sealed with sliced patatos some cooked still on the bone others are more like a stew others like a hot pot
    and any dead pig meats only save a day or 2 when cooked

    i will give you mine if you want it but it takes about 12 hours to cook but you can have it if ya still want it just let me know witch one you want if you dont know the differance tell me how it looks and tastes i tell you witch one it is

    i come from a famerly of cooks over 200 years of hand made recipes
    past down to me (iam the first male to have them)
