A Vectra Window

Hi All,

Not been on here in a while... Since last visit have been and got a vectra (Don't worry, still have the surf!)

Some liittle .......... smashed the window, bought another one off ebay and am currently trying to replace it..

Not as easy as the surf ones... any body got any idea how to fit a new one?? doesn't seem to fit into the frame at all... have removed card and all rubbers but still no joy.

Finally, how do you fit the winder bit on the inside, it seems to sliide through, i dont see how you can slide it on whilst attached to the window???

Any Ideas??

is it the front window??if so the winder part is pressed on to the bottom runner and there are two plastic clips that hold the runner to the regulator,if these are broken then you need two new ones take the wing mirror off and then remove the bottom bolt from the front runner andthe window will slide down into the frame.

changed registered email yesterday and account got locked out so not able to post.

am on mobile internet now so won't be on long and don't know what this post will look like!

PS Can anyone help with the above window problem.. Vincent is usually pretty good at this sort of thing if i remember correctly!

I think I can be let off with spelling mistakes - the keyboard i was using was about 3 inches square, in a car, going along a motorway, at night!!
