Brake pads

Well got my pads from RT and as i dont have a suitable jack at the mo i called a few garages, they started coming back with prices ranging from £ 30 up to 70 .....thought sod that so last garage i called (a jag specialist ) siad ...can you not do them yourself ? told him yea but didn't have a decent jack he then told me to come down and i could use there garage and kit......you dont get many places like that do you. Offered him £20 and he wouldn't take it either

Anyway....i have never done i easier job on any car, taking the wheels off took twice as long as it did to change the pads... so im a happy bunny now

Just did mine on the drive this morning - very easy job like you say - and I have to say, what a top guy at the garage!

Most garages will not fit parts they haven't supplied due to warrenty etc. as I found out last summer with the 2 door trying to get the brakes done (no drive back then)..
