Wasn't that on eBay a few weeks back? If I had the space I'd have that for sure. I guess my 33s and my 3.0 would fit... Mmmmm...

        Yep it was
remember this one that Mudsurfer went to see for me would have been ideal for a 3.0 swap and it made less than £500 just the distance and an early pick up required stopped me if only

But with it being an '87 it'll have IFS, so it'll be no better off road than your Surf. The early ones had solid front axles.

Manual hubs on the front though, which is nice.

Hi have just joined your site (oh how i wish i found it sooner). I am selling my truck due to the wife wanting something more practical . Just a couple of pointers, I have not advertised this truck on Ebay at any stage, nor has anyone from this site been to have a look at it, nor have i advertised it for £1490 (its £995 all in for a quick sale) The truck has mot until end of May, does run & has no over heating problems, its done 160k & drives very well. I currently do have it advertised on autotrader. I am gutted to be selling but as i say the boss has said it has to go. If anybody wishes to contact me about this please feel free to email, I have lots of piccs if anybody wants a look. I would prefer to sell it to someone who will appreciate what this truck is all about. Can i just say what a great & informative site this is (now understand what some of the switches & buttons do great help thanks). Keep up the good work everyone.
