              I can remember going to the pictures with tuppence in me pocket, buying my date a lemonade, getting the bus home and STILL having change for a Jaguar E-type!

                        • I remember when I was young I used to think that the 6 o'clock news was soooo boring and my father used to tell me to be very quiet while he was listening to it. Strangely, in recent years I have found myself watching the news with great interest. I don't know when this transformation took place but, like age, it's just crept up on me.
