You honestly think it'll ever stop? Not in our lifetime. There are appalling conditions all around the world, for all types of mammals from humans downwards. Whilst ever commerce or Governments exist, it's a simple fact of life. Some scrotey git who just managed to find his way onto T.V for some unknown reason has no right to start putting his oar in, just because of his own personal opinion. Seriously, do you think Hugh 'Scrotey Boy whatever his hyphenated name is', would donate all his earnings from his T.V appearances to the likes of the R.S.P.C.A, for the betterment of our feathered friends? My arse he would.

I dont now any animal that ends up with no ###### feathers left because it cant sit down or any animal that is fed so quickly that it cant stand on its own 2 feet as it is so heavy other than a chicken. I have no problem with any other farm that rear animals but i have a problem with the chicken farms. And dont give me this crap about not having the money to buy free range as i can honestly say that we live on £220.00 a week with my husband wages and i can still pay £4.00 for a free range chicken and i now alot off you have got better paid jobs than me and geoff. Yes off course you all have your oppinions but so do i and hugh was only trying to do some good and lets face it if we all started buying free range then the price would come down. As for paul well he has gone to far.

Hugh fernly-whatever has a point, battery chickens live in appauling conditions, there isn't any need for it.
If you can live with it fine, I'm can't and won't.
Don't get what he is trying point out mixed up with the other fools who just want their pics in the papers.
He's a OK guy.

We said everyone - even Slugsie,

Btw I've never heard a cow burp although I have heard them break wind, usually when calving, but hey, I'll forgive them that!

I wonder what makes 'celebs' think they have all the answers? (and more to the point, what person values a 'has been' pop star's opinions over that of hard factual science?
Sun readers, step forward!

Firstly, and most importantly, Paul McCartney is a fool of the highest order.
Secondly, I am trying to do my bit to reduce methane by killing and eating as many of these gas-excreting monstrosities as possible. The problem is, they keep breeding. If Paul McCartney really cared about the environment, he too would be trying to exterminate all livestock.
Thirdly, I'm sure I read somewhere that ants are the biggest producer of methane. Maybe we should all go round Paul McCartney's house with a kettle and pour boiling water all over his garden.

If it comes from the cow pats save em and harness the gas. I think it's udderly ridiculous. Next we will have a methane gas levey on human emissions.
