Power Steering pump !!!

Me power steeing felt stiff n jerky today n on inspection found the PSP belts loose, so I went to adjust em up n the adjuster bolt broke..
So now gotta remove the PSP and drill out the broken bolt, anybody else come across this problem ??
I have managed to temperarily fix it, but I will have to use SWMBO's Turbo Intercooler.... misty she calls "Wagon Slayer" !!!!
Tip:
Put nut n bolt with washers in adjuster slot n tighten up, belts are now tight and PSP wont slacken......

There's always a Payback .... Ya just never see it Comin !!!!!

At least It wasn't the pump or the box therefore blood and sweat without the tears.

Nope but i did do exactly the same thing on my alternator about 2 weeks ago, went to loosen it and the bolt just sheared

anybody else come across this problem ??

Not personally but have heard of it a number of times, along with the alternator one. I replaced my bolts when doing the power steering and alternator to avoid future problems.
