Heavy snow (Scotland), Heavy rain Friday & Saturday for the rest of us.

Could be interesting as the ground's already soaked.

That really sucks. Went through Henley and Stratford last friday and parts of the road had flooded again.

The sad thing is that a lot of the places that were damaged by the floods in the summer have just been repaired as well.

They're saying a 40% risk of disruption for Blackpool. The only good thing is that the north-west isn't a flood plain, so the water goes pretty much as quickly as it comes, rather than hanging around like it does in the south.

Looking at the weather map red areas, Tewkesbury could catch it again. It's already a lake in some areas there and more pouring of the welsh hills will do nothing to ease the situation.

Yeah the Severn and the Avon are already overflowing in a lot of places. Was going up the M5 yesterday and as you cross the Avon it's about 1/4 mile wide.

Most of the people there are still in Caravans poor bu**ers

Tallyman. Why don't you join the Gloucestershire 4x4 response team, A guy set it up in Gloucester just before the summer floods, affiliated to the national 4x4 response network. You never know when we may be needed again and it's nice to get some decent press occasionally when you drive a 4x4.
