2.4 and 3.0 are much the same, up to 500km per tank if very carefull. 27mpg ish motorway
Sancho will tell you of the V6 i think it does 1 mpg and 5 km's to a tankfull when driven gently, the upside is if you dont use it it will hardly use any fuel at all
It varies a lot. For generally driving round I get around 350KMs to a tank. If I do a solid motorway run at a constant 65ish mph I can get over 500KMs to a tank. This is in my 95 3.0ltr running Veg.
or would i need a pre-heater to warm the oil? and does it damage the engine/turbo at all?
Yes up to 50/50 in winter and heaters are a good idea, a heatexchanger fromheater matrix is a good idea if you want to do that. Do a search for VOW2 DW thats an electric/coolant fuel heater. But itll go on it without a heater exchanger 50% winter maximum maybe more in summer, and it lowers your emmissions too
I've read up about running it on veg oil, but they don't seem to say anything about the fuel to veg ratio. can i just fill the tank up 1/4 with veg oil and go from there? unless the veg oil sinks benbeath the diesel, or vice versa?
