  • Great Forum

we are really glad we were browsing the internet and found this forum, with so much information we found on here it really helped us find our surf, every question we thought about we looked and there was the answer somewhere on this site, a big Thank You to all you surfers for sharing your views and problems so that all us newbies and future newbies can find help,
Just one question when did this web site start and who started it??

Unsure of the time the original site started but this is version 2 of the Forum. The first was on Arborwood but wasn't big enough. It was owned by a chap called Wayne, who also had the www.hiluxsurf.co.uk web page. It was purchased last year by Nigel (Koi) & Andy (lucky) who changed the forum web page to the site you are currently using and they have recently updated the software to the pages you see now.
These guys purchased it from their own pocket, make NO monies doing it and continue to give a excellent web site.
You can, if you wish, contribute to the web space by joining (there is a fee - hard sell!!! ) all this does is allow the guys to continue doing what they are doing now. Plus you get a nice little blue star under your name, showing that you are as mad as the rest of us!!! and the ability to put any sort of avatar pic in your ID box (NO rude ones!!)

      Glad you're enjoying it
      NO WORRIES!

Yes - welcome Ian and Jean!! Always nice to welcome new members. This site was invaluable to me when I first got my surf, and I've made some great new friends!
Post us some pics of your surf to admire, and why not come along to one of our offroad meets? Even if youdon't want to risk your baby it's nice to names to faces and you can always get a ride

The original Hilux Surf forum was started in July 2002 by a guy called Wayne (he's sold his Surf now). I think I was the third poster to use the original forum- so I feel like an old timer now!
