well i have just picked the truck up this evening from its open gearbox surgery.the guys who did it were ace.they found that the torque converter was fine,it neede seals both sides of the tq and the pump seals and gasket were replaced.they removed the plate and replaced the filter,and connected it to a machine that pushed all of the old fluid out and completely new stuff was put in,and it gave the box a flush at the same time.the difference is amazing,can hardly notice the gearchanges now and the response when i throttle up is instant.well chuffed
