The best thing about the 3rd gen is that for once your head and heart will probably agree on something!
Like Boyo an the Landcruisers. the head delt a fatal blow.
But the 3rd gen has had nothing but good things said!
No 'underpowered', no 'poor fuel economy' no 'cr*p rear leg room' comments yet!
An beefed up they look amazing!
If nothing that great comes along between now and when my truck goes off to autotrader a 3rd gen would be on the list!
The only thing i would do, Is price up EVERYTHING!
How much is the lift going to cost? What size tyres do you want to run? L.A.Supertrux winch bumper + arches?
Just add it all up an then work out if its worth it!
TBH even stock they have the edge over a stock 2nd gen.

Do it! Since replacing my 2nd with a 3rd ive never looked back (except at the 2.4 2nd gens)
Those that take the pi$$ are living in the past. Onwards and upwards my friend. Sell the 2nd, let someone else have the fun with it as you are onto bigger and better thingsKite Surf
