I can never quite make my mind up Mick. I like the look of them without the side steps but I've never fancied removing mine (my missus has a struggle getting in with the side steps on, I'd have to buy some of the little aluminium ladders if I took mine off!)

Hi copycat
Ive found the operset with the step on the wife keep on catching her clothes
but with out she can get in fine.
its funny seeing 5 foot nothing girls almost fall out when they dont realise how high up it is.. and thats with steps!
im keeping mine for as long as i can
but they can look sweet without 'em
it all depends on how much you want to lift the truck.you can get a 2" lift kit from roughtrax or go the landcruiser spring route which a few of us have which give you an instant 3" lift on the rear

Hi richard
I already have new springs on the rear plus they are the 20% or what ever they call them.
so i was thinking of just putting a 2" block under them
then re adjusting the taushon bar on the front.
does this sound ok
thats fine but i would only adjust the t/bars 1 1/2" tho as it will cause excessive wear on the cv's if you go to 2".Do a search for the 2" spring spacers as i cant think at the mo where some of the guys got they'res from
