    I did something similar a month back, but the tree went between the upper and lower wishbones tearing the CV boot off, and thankfully not into the footwell. Didn't notice until I got back to the carpark at work with about 8ft of tree still under the car. Couldn't pull it out and ended up sawing it into three pieces and getting it out that way.

      That was nearly a case of nonads..............

      Years ago when a rookie firefighter we when to a rta where a 205 had hit a brigde/walkway along the side of the road made of railway sleepers....one went through the passenger side footwell and out through the roof over the rear seat .......we were so glad to find only the driver was in the car as there would have been a right mess of any passenger
