crew cab 2.8

Hi, Years ago, I used to have a Toyota crew cab 2.8, (the 1st in Scotland at the time). It had a really great engine and never let me down. I had it for 8 years. The only 'thing' with it was the leaf springs, used to go thru them every 6 months and they were difficult to get then. Anyhoo, my question is, do they still make pick ups with a 2.8 engine?

No, they don't still make them, they use the 3.0 D-4D engine in the crew cab pick-up now.

I do have a 1993 2.8 Toyota crew cab myself though

I have had it for coming up 9 years and it's been the cheapest overall car I have ever owned, although it has had some new parts in the last year or so due to off roading it's still overall very cheap to run. Like you around here it was one of the first Jap import dual cabs.

No mine is IFS, but the LN106 is SFA and more of less the same (2.8 non turbo engine code 3L)
