Has anyone successfully manged to fit one of these A-bars to their 2nd gen? I appreciate that I will need to make some new brackets, but are the sizes about right to fit? I like the look of the bottom one best I think and for a ton they seem good value.

Have you tried a company in north yorks called 4x4 accesories and tyres - they stock bars for surfs at around the same price. I got mine from there seen in picture...... made from polished stainless steel from a company called Avenger.

Just looked at their site, but they only seem to have a black one at £193 for a 2nd gen. Maybe yours was pre anti bullbar legislation?
