We were at a pub quiz last night and one of the questions was a Family Fortunes style thing.

Q: What do you associate most with New years Eve.

We were trying to be sensible and came up with Big Ben, Hogmanay(?) 12 midnight and first footing but we should have tried the lowest common denominator first!
