  • Advice wanted on cost of Surf

    Hi guys,

If someone has the time, please could they have a look at the link below and tell me if the price seems fair, as it looks a little high, but then I am a Surfing newbie. Many thanks if you can! Oh it's the second one down, black for £5950

Nope, way too high mate. Should be around half that. £2,500 - £3,000 tops.

Hmm how odd, ok so I managed to post it in the end, and edited it, and now the replies are funny to read. haha.

Just been on the phone to Algy's Autos, seemed very helpful. However, as I've only seen Surf's on the motorway as I've gone flying past them, anyone live near North London, as I would really like to have a proper look at one, size wise, before I buy. Cheers all!

if you go with a dealer your gonna pay dealer prices, it's a lot cheaper private just got to check out the motor poperly as you have no comback after. you pay your money and take your chances.

I personally bought 3 93reg 2.4td surfs for an average of £1300 of ebay and touch wood 1 year on no probs and very happy

Thanks for the help guys! Unfortunately due to that lovely piece of kit - the M25, South London will take too long. Tiger - you don't seem too far, I'm over in Barnet, may be able to pop over. I work insane hours though so going places seriously cuts down on my sleep!

Thanks. Unless you're near Barnet anytime, then the weekend is best for me, traffic wise, as it'll still take me a while to get over there.
