couldn't get my surf sticker off the side of my truck , even bloke at work who takes sign writing off trucks at work gave up on it , he tried everything took about a foot off in a couple of hours,
i bought a caramel wheel and all done in a - hour

Heat gun everytime don't be tempted to use something to scrape just use a plastic spatula if you need to raise a corner.

Have you tried a caramel wheel, or pin strip remover. It did the job brilliantly, with nothing left over.
Oh I got mine from ebay.

it was the original sticker alongside the truck dont think it had been laquered

same sticker on different truck came off with jetwash
