Came acroos some Checker plate alluminium, about 5mm thick, chopped off the top of the original bash plate, and remounted it flush to the chassis, instead of being 5-6" down from it as was before, then rivited ally to original plate, and bolted it all up. It was strong before but now it should take fair thwack to upset it.
Only problem was i started it was dry then it pished it doon and my back is soakin and my ar5e is too and im achin like heck, still worth it for the stand back afterwards

looks a bit shiney tho, and your going to get wetter still when you get stuck in slack up to the headlight's,
Just aint gettin enough oportunities to do it. Mud is frozen, no mess, lanes are covered in leaves and frozen. I need a few days rain to really slop things up, then youll see what side im on........... If i resist washing it.
mud glorious mud.
