    Ive had it suggested to me that i learn the piano to aid my flucked hand...


    Anyone know any good 'teach yourself' books?!

    Ive got a keyboard an i used to play but stopped a while back - so im a weeee bit lost!

      I'd seriously recommend getting a few professional lessons... there's nothing quite like it.
      Also, they'll teach you good techniques that won't exacerbate any hand problems -- bad techniques can lead to sprains and RSI.

        Cheers for the site will Didnt even think to look for piano stuff there.

        An cat... You might be right, a few lessons cant really hurt an might point me in the right direction

          strangely enough i fond loads of info on youtube the other day, especially for those that play by ear as opposed to music readers...

              im good ta...forgot the dims you wanted tho...altho pretty sure my guestimations were about right..

                Ah, Thats probably good enough then mate

                According to my Doctor - Ive got tendonitits an cramp in my hand, Caused by over doing it, He said its just wear and tear...

                Anyone on here will probably tell you ive been choking the chicken too (barst*rds! )

                But im a plumber an a guitarist so my hands working is pretty flucking important!!

                Ive been signed off work since pretty much the start of this month - Which while its a bit crud - its nice to chill
