tyres and wheel sizing

Tyres look bigger on a smaller wheel because the sidewall is bigger. Nice fat 31's might be a good choice.

the tyres are the same size... they just have bigger holes in the middle...


33's are 33's with a 15" or a 16"

i was planning a lift next year and thought the 16s would suit a lift better. But then i saw a picture of your surf. I am however also consious of not running too big a tyre as only have 2.4. 33s is probably one step too far i thinkest.

I think Jotto ran 32x11.50 on his 2.4 with no troubles - provided my memory serves me right!

It all depends on how far you wanna take it. If your going for 16" you can get 265/75/16 which is a 31.6"

But from there on it. Its only 33's an up.

So a 32x11.50r15 Could possibly suit your needs better?! But then its only another tiiiiny lil inch an your on 33's

Only problem is i wont get 33s under the truck without hitting the arches without a lift.
i think 265/75/16s or 31s on 15".

I shall ponder the choices and make a move in the new year.
