    my gearbox gets in top gear about 50mph, but in the mornings when its realy cold
    its waits till its alittle warmed up before shifts to top gear, like nearly doing 1mile
    before hits top gear.
    IS THIS NORMAL?

    Yep, pretty much. The transmission fluid has to warm up before it does its stuff properly.

        Mine even takes its time changing on really cold mornings, as if to say i cant be ar5ed.

          and the engine coolant temp controls gear changes via the ECU as well.

          Its for your own good, you shouldn't be giving a cold engine any sort of stick!
