My freinds at Toyota Main dealer want to charge me £132 + vat for a speedo sensor. Anyone know of another place to buy them from?
If not, then that will be the wife's christmas present.

have you tried asking in the parts for sale/wanted section.Supersurf is breaking a 2.4 now so he will be likely to have the bit you need

Thanks for the info. He does indeed have one, but neither he nor I knows where abouts it is! Have you a diagram whereabouts on the the car it is?

put it in drive [engine off]where the gear change come through car the first join it is there [drivers side]as seen in pic

which speed sensor do you want as there are 2, one that the speedo cable goes in and another one further down
