  • Rated recovery hooks

Does anyone know how far apart the bolt centres for the recovery hooks are on the front of a surf?

Also, I've found someone locally who has 10,000kg rated hooks for £15. Is this a good price and good enough spec?

And lastly, anyone got a pic of where the rear hooks should go?
Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Cheers for that Smiffy, got a pic of where you put the rears? Is £15 a fair price for one?

If it's only a few pennies and I can get then from a guy less than 2 miles away, I'm ok with it. But if it's pounds dearer (including the postage), I'll buy them mail order...

I've got the TJM ones here about £12 ea, black or chrome. They are 4.500kg rated, so £15 isn't bad.

The rears arn't easy, the chassis is way up higher than the body/bumper panels.

You'll need a drop bracket or the tow bar to mount them, but remember the tow bar isn't normally more than 3,500kg rated, and thats for pulling centrally on the bar, not with a hook on one side.
