can anyone tell me what brake pads and discs to order for my 1992 surf 2.4td k plate.Typical dealer blah.....WE FIND IT HARD FOR IMPORT PARTS!!!!!! plus any pitfalls i should know about when changing them???

We got our front brake bits from Milners last week... No probs - delivered in 48 hours... easy..

If you want genuine parts, tell them is for a 4Runner, or buy them from Milners to save cash.

If they arn't wearing evenly, you've got a sticky piston in one of the calipers.

Brakes

Just fitted disks and pads to my 93 3.0 litre surf that has done 45000
miles, exactly the same as 4 runner.
Cost me £25 for disks and £11 for pads Plus Vat from partco.
No nasty surprises when fitting them, worth bleeding breaks when you have them all in bits.
