did the egr block off today

when I disconnected the pipe I put a little bit of oil on the pipe that goes to the inlet that hasnt burt off so i know that the egr valve is closed.if the oil would have burned off I would have blanked it with plates.

How do you know it's the same oil?

I was actually speaking to my mate the other day about making me some egr block off plates as i need some for my current surf, he has said that he can make another batch of plates from 6mm steel but would make them to order so he knows how many to make ,
Hes currently making me some 2" coil spacers

the pipe is dry of oil so if I put a spot of oil on there I would know if it was that oil that burned off or stayed wet.

Im in Merhtyr, i get to Newport retail park occationally. if your not in a rush, can you hang on to them Fri/Sat and ill try to arrang a visit to meet up with you.

I've still got a set of these that I bought back in 07 or 08, Do these fit a 3.0? Shame to have them sitting there un used.

i am actually getting a batch made up, at the moment , i think he said hes making 12 pairs to start with and wants £10 per set which includes postage
