In a minute I'm gonna get a sheet of bubble wrap and go lay under my truck. Not just for the fun of it though, I'm taking the starter motor out again! Took it out yesterday in p!ssing rain, took end plate off on the bench and found the contacts and contact ring dirty and carboned up so I thought, result! Sanded and cleaned contacts, put it back and......click, click. Nothing. Back to go and throw double six to start, doh! Guess I'm gonna need a Rough Trax service kit. I've bought cars for less than the cost of a new starter motor. At least it just stopped raining...
