  • Jaguar C-XF

I never was a fan of any of the Jags of yesteryear, (apart from the E-type)
but the new C-XF is feckin' stunning!

I saw one of those on it's way back to Gaydon a few months ago - wondered what it was - looks like an Aston Martin saloon - very sexy!

There are some similarities in the side profile, but as much as I love the new Mustang, I think I would prefer the Jag to be honest!

Ok, I'll have bought it back by this time last week, unless I get held up after then.

Sorry, gonna have to go against the flow here.

Headlamps from SEAT, the rest of it a mish-mash of 'the current vogue' for big intakes / grilles etc.

The last really good looking Jag was the E-Type, and the later XK's were nice, typically Jaguar. That one doesn't have any Jag identity. You could stick an Audi badge on it and no-one would be any the wiser.

                        Bland.

I thought it was an Audi firt time I saw one.. the back is very similar to the XK.. and it looks terrible in some colours. Still, It goes along very nicely...

I load out of Gaydon on a regular baises for Land Rover , just by the entrance
to the transporter loading area there is a compound where they , I would
say park but that would be wrong , I would say deposit Aston Martin's
that have been crash tested . It is a sad sight to see such good looking
cars all smashed up deliberatly . I know that they have to go through
this for Encap etc but it still seems such a waist.
