Go try the Bryncrug route if you think green-laning cant be a bit harsh!

From what I've seen, 'laning' is offroading (and the most enjoyable bit of the sport), and 'offroading' in the 'offroad centre' sense is a bunch of heros trying to do as much damage as possible to their steeds.

P.S I get up to Liverpool a fair bit, and used to get to Blackpool a bit too, but not these days.

Is Bryncrug That Load Of Rockcrawling We Did Mate ?

Thats the one. Ok, foot high boulders and 18" rock drop-offs might not be the Rubicon, but it's pretty gnarly for the type of offroading we set our trucks up for in the UK.

And foot high boulders for a few miles is certainly pretty trying, challenging and technical for most!

I LOVE that route!

For me, Strata Florida on a sunny day following lots of rain (so the rivers are full), an evening barbecue and a few beers amongst like-minded mates is the pinnacle of this sport, and that route out of Bryncrug is the pinnacle of challenging lanes.
