right before we go any where else this carb is not for stein its for the 1st gen 2.0ltr 3y engine. im sure i said that in an earlier post.

You did indeed say that in an earlier post mate, the penny dropped as i was writing that post earlier. There's a slim chance there may be somethin kickin around between a few old mates down here so i'll see if i can find anything, it is only a slim chance though, which would be greatly increased if it was the same webers your after that the vauxhall boys use on some of the mid-late 80s vauxhall engines? I don't know enough to know myself, but will ask around.
