'Stonehead' works a croft and uses a tricycle to get one of his kids to nursery. He was hit and run by 'white van man' and subsequently broke his collar bone making life on the croft very difficult.

I enjoy his blog as we're in similar situations. My missus works and like him I am the house hubbie/smallholder.

Andy originally put me onto Stonehead's blog when I asked in these forums if anyone else was a crofter/smallholder.
