Vehicle not on insurance data base

Hello again, have found what looks like a nice Surf,but I checked the reg on the data base and its not there,what does this mean and is it a problem ? Can anyone advise me as i dont want to be stuck with a vehicle I can't insure.

I have had similar prob, according to insurance database my truck is also the following- landcruiser, 4 runner and the odd one out a corolla???

Check the DVLA website and you should find it there, if so your ok.

mine shows as a robin reliant on the MID site, and can't be found on the link above. I've had no problems with insurance other than no one else is willing to quote for a modified imported 4wd and a policyholder under 25. other than adrian flux.

Thanks for the tip,have checked the DVLA and its there,any tips on insurance companies,have tried for online quotes but cannot get past the first page probably cause its not on the data base,how do I get round this.

Phone them!!

No online sites picked up the surf!!

Search the threads for insurance, seems to be very variable but some of the specialist companies seem to work out well.
