any one tell me what the manual's are like
dont seem to be much differance between the 4runner and surf to me
iam just after a manual box on a surf but them 4runners look ok to me

Hello M8, having driven both 4Runner and Surf in Manual both exactly same handling etc its just that the Surf spec is so much higher. My current 3rd Gen is manual and regularly get 30mpg it seems the manual version is quite rare to buy.

They both look nice.

Mine is the same as the 1st on the list - L Reg 3.0L TD 5 Door Manual but is badged as a Surf.

Wouldn't change it for the world.

i know what you mean, but since driving an auto ive found it to be far less stress, especially when your town driving or caught in a bit of traffic

I have to say I am going to convert to Auto very soon it seems so less complicated, especialy for an old numpty like me !
