Home networking is gay

OK, I've got a Belkin F5D9230uk4 ADSL Router being used as a wireless bridge. I also have an Orinoco AP200 as the other wireless bridge.
My desktop plugs into the Belkin, the ADSL Router at the other end of the house has the Orinoco AP plugged into the switch at the back.

I can connect to and play around with the AP200 from my laptop, here - that is connected to the ADSL Router at the front of the house, wirelessly - and I can connect to and play with the router (Bridge) from my desktop at the back of the house.

I have set the security the same at both ends, registered the MAC addresses of both bridge devices, and done all I can come up with, and I can't get one end to see the other, so I'm off to bed, as I have a meeting at 07:00 - so can I leave it here to see if the brighter people have any ideas?

Using Belkin is probably your first prob. I have no end of trouble with them usually.

Why not just connect wireless to the router directly using a dongle instead of having bridges?

well been giving this a lot of thought andy
and came to the conclusion



















that if it carry's on raining it will be nice and muddy sunday for offroading

I need to connect a printer to the LAN too - so I can print from either the laptop or desktop PCs - I'm going to have another bash tonight/tomorrow night and see how I get on!
