Nokia 6288 help

Just need a little help with annes phone.

Our 1 year old was having a chew on it last night and must have a pressed a couple of buttons.
On the display a little symble like a headset with a mouth piece has appeared.
When some one rings and you answer the phone you car`nt hear anyone and they car`nt hear you.

Must be something to do with handsfree or useing a headset but car`nt find anything in the manual.

Anyhelp getting rid of this would be greatfully appreciated

Nope, little headset is still there!!

only other thing is edit the profile its self?click on edit??or buy a sony phone lol

If the headset icon is showing, the phone thinks a headset is connected. Therefore until it is "disconnected" it will remain on the screen.

If you've nothing attached, maybe the little 'un might have actually done some damage.

Try plugging a headset into the phone and then removing it again. Is it pop port or regular 3.5mm headphone socket?

If pop port, possibly bent contacts shorting together fooling the phone or maybe its full of drool!!
