  • Checking wheel size??

    Hi all

I just want to ask a quick question about wheels...if i am buying a new set for a 3rd gen and i have a choice +20 offset or +0 offset would someone mind letting me know what the difference is....i'm thinking +0 offset will stick out a little further than the +20 is that the right way of thinking or not.

Cheers for any advise.....going to orer on line tomorrow or following day so pleeease answer quickly.

    Cheers

Yeah, minus numbers with stick out more. Don't know much about 3rd gen offsets, 0 offset is the mounting face bang in the middle of the rim width. Big + offsets cause rubbing on wishbones and chassis, big - offsets cause rubbing on wheel arch edges and chassis.

Standard 2nd gen 7" wide rims are -7mm offset.

The wider the rim, the more important the offset is.
