temporary import?
Hi, does anyone know if its possible to bring a car into the UK for a couple of weeks - have it serviced / prepared and then re-export it - outside the EU - without having to pay UK Duty and VAT.

I dont think it will be a problem if you are doing this within the EU baring in mind the likes of Eddie Stobbart register his vehicles in Belgium but run them in this country to take advantage of the cheaper road tax. I think if i am right these trucks have to return every so often for checks...Im not a gynacologist but ill have a look
